Live Stream is a standard live broadcast where vendors show inventory and viewers can watch and chat. Live Auction adds real-time competitive bidding on individual cards during the broadcast.
How does Live Auction work?
The vendor selects a card, sets a starting price, and sets a countdown timer of 1 to 10 minutes. Viewers bid in real time with a one-tap bid button. The current highest bid and bidder are shown live to everyone watching, and the winner is announced instantly when the timer hits zero.
Do I need anything set up before I can bid?
Yes. You need a saved payment method and shipping address on file before you can place a bid. You’ll see a clear on-screen notice about automatic charging before you enter an auction.
What happens when I win an auction?
You’re charged automatically through your saved payment method the moment the auction ends. There’s no separate checkout step and no manual action needed from the vendor.
Can a vendor run multiple auctions in one stream?
Yes. Vendors can run auctions back-to-back in a single broadcast without ending the stream between items.
Do I need a Premium Vendor account to go live?
Yes. Live Stream and Live Auction are available to Premium Vendors ($15/month, with a 30-day free trial). Free Vendor accounts can list and sell normally but don’t include live streaming or auction hosting.
